Hello 2026. Here we go.

As we step into the new year, we wanted to pause, put the fairy lights back in the cupboard, deal with the last mince pie, and say thank you.

Hello 2026. Here we go.

Over the past year, we have been busy with the unglamorous but important stuff. Improving platforms. Strengthening data foundations. Supporting organisations doing good work across the island. And quietly proving to ourselves that the things we are building can scale, travel, and genuinely make life easier for the people using them.

Seeker grew again, with more data, more subscribers, and a refreshed platform ready to go live. Bragi stepped out into the world, teaching us a great deal about attention, intent, and how people really discover new tools. Behind the scenes, client projects moved forward in meaningful ways, from major system upgrades to smarter reporting and cleaner data flows.

We also stayed close to our community. From flight simulators built in unexpected places to supporting charities with their data and reporting, it has been one of the most rewarding parts of the year.

We are starting 2026 with a sharper focus, a longer to-do list, and a quiet confidence that the work we put in last year is about to pay off. There is plenty ahead, and we are looking forward to getting stuck in.

Thank you for reading, working with us, and generally keeping things interesting. We are excited about what comes next and very glad you are along for the ride.

Here is to a big and bold 2026.

Matt Thornton

By Matt Thornton

Matt’s biggest (and most irritating) asset is his attention to detail. Whether it’s spotting bugs in code or spotting grammatical errors in other people’s work, Matt will find it and tell you about it.

Usually with an obnoxious smirk on his face.

After a long spell at University honing his analytical skills, gaining a PhD in remote sensing and computer science, Matt has spent the last 15 or so years applying them in Guernsey.

Don’t interrupt him if he’s in the zone - usual signs are air drumming, fixated stare on random object and/or swearing prolifically - unexpected behaviour may will result.
